Schroeder was a noted speaker and writer on federal lands and natural resource related issues to over seven colleges and universities and many gatherings of professional organizations interested in the federal lands, water, and mining. Mr. Schroeder’s speech-essays concerning the challenges of the federal lands have appeared in publications all across the Western United States.
